Adult Education (AE) programs offer
instruction in Pre-GED and GED preparation. Courses include math,
science, social studies, writing, grammar and literature. Those who
successfully pass the GED test receive a high school equivalency
diploma from the Tennessee Department of Education. All AE programs
offer placement testing to help students determine if they are ready
to take the GED.
New GED Test Requirement:
Beginning January 1, 2003, individuals will be required to take the
Official GED Practice Test before taking the GED Exam. Testing for
the Official Practice Test is given every Tuesday and Thursday at
8:45 A.M. at the Fayette County Adult Learning Center.
